Hi, I’m Sarah.
I’ve lived and worked in different cultures, and that experience shapes how I approach my work today.
Spending time abroad taught me that communication, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence aren’t just workplace skills—they’re essential life skills, deeply influenced by context, culture, and environment.
Through Questing Insight, I teach these skills in ways that are practical, engaging, and grounded in real human experience.
Whether I’m facilitating a workshop, speaking at a conference, or working with individuals one-on-one, my goal is to help people connect more authentically, communicate with clarity, and navigate complexity both at work and beyond.
My Story
My path into training and facilitation began in an unexpected place: Japan.
Shortly after university, I moved to Asia and spent time in the city of Takasaki, teaching in classrooms where my students didn’t share my language or cultural background.
That experience taught me something foundational: connection comes before everything else. When people don’t feel understood, they don’t engage, and when they don’t engage, meaningful learning doesn’t happen. That lesson has shaped how I facilitate to this day.

When I returned to the U.S., I began my career in the manufacturing industry, where I designed and facilitated leadership development programs at Worthington Industries.
I was tasked with revitalizing a first-tier leadership program for new managers and went on to lead workshops focused on communication, conflict resolution, and team dynamics.
Along the way, I watched people grow—not just as leaders, but as humans.
The feedback that stayed with me most wasn’t about promotions or performance metrics. It was hearing participants say the skills they learned helped them communicate better at home, navigate difficult family conversations, or show up differently with their kids and communities.
That’s when I knew this work mattered far beyond the workplace.

What Motivates My Work
I’m driven by a belief that effective development work should create real, meaningful change, visible both in the workplace and in our everyday life.
When I design and deliver learning experiences, I focus on creating environments that are engaging, psychologically safe, and immediately applicable.
Quality matters to me because people deserve training that respects their time, intelligence, and lived experience.
I’m also a firm believer that personal and professional growth are deeply connected. Growth starts with curiosity: a willingness to better understand ourselves, others, and the context we’re operating within. That mindset shapes every workshop I lead.
Whether I’m working with frontline employees, emerging leaders, or individuals investing in their own development, I aim to make complex topics feel approachable through storytelling and practical frameworks people can actually use.
