HELPING TEAMS WORK MORE EFFECTIVELY TOGETHER
From interactive workshops for your whole team to sessions designed for larger audiences, every experience is built with one purpose in mind: supporting meaningful, lasting behavior change.
Forget passive slide decks and one-way lectures. My approach to facilitation emphasizes real-time practice and application, because people learn by doing, not just by watching slides. Expect hands-on activities, LEGO building challenges, group discussions, and reflection exercises that make the learning stick long after the session ends.
Each workshop is also customized to your organization's goals and context, with a focus on strengthening the skills that matter most: communicating clearly, leading with greater self-awareness, and understanding what drives behavior at the individual and team level.
THE SIGNATURE WORKSHOP:

The Team EQ + Strengths Lab
Most teams have untapped potential sitting right beneath the surface. This specialized workshop combines Emotional Intelligence frameworks with Gallup's certified CliftonStrengths34 strengths analysis to identify each team member's individual talents - then puts that data to work to uncover how the team can sustain a more productive and emotionally intelligent culture based on their individual group members.
When people understand and know how to apply their natural talents at work, the difference shows up in the data: 8% higher productivity in team output and 15% lower employee turnover, according to Gallup research.
Teams walk away from this training with more than simply insight into who they are and how they tend to operate; they leave with a shared language for applying their natural talents to work in real, sustainable ways that boosts team productivity and reduces team conflict.
A Team Strengths Grid is created as part of this workshop. This matrix works like a DNA test for team dynamics - revealing how individual strengths combine, where friction is likely to emerge, and how to turn that awareness into stronger collaboration and performance.

Learning Objectives:

After attending the Team EQ & Strengths Lab, your team will:
-
Understand how their top strengths surface through 34 themes and how those impact others on the team.
-
Identify team skill gaps, address individual blind spots, and navigate communication differences that impact how effectively the team functions.
-
Compare and contrast the 4 domains of Emotional Intelligence: Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management.
-
Develop concrete strategies for turning lesser strengths into opportunities for emotionally intelligent behaviors.
-
Leave with a shared framework for how to work better together while reducing team friction and optimizing personal productivity.

-
A clear picture of your collective strengths and where gaps exist on the team
-
Strategies for navigating blind spots and communication differences

Actionable steps toward sustaining a high-EQ team culture
-
Strengths-based goal setting framework for individual development plans

As an End-of-Life Educator trained through INELDA (International End-of-Life Doula Association, training completed June 2026), my work related to Emotional Intelligence extends into organizations and care-centered communities to help individuals foster the awareness, language, and compassion to show up for one another during difficult moments.
Sample presentation topics include:
• Navigating Hard Conversations with Emotional Intelligence
• Anticipatory Grief at Work: Supporting Employees Before the Loss
• The Emotional Blindspot: Creating Psychological Safety Around Grief and Loss
• Beyond Bereavement Leave: What a Grief-Informed Workplace Actually Looks Like
• Broaching the Subject: Talking About Death Without "Making it Weird"
• The Grieving Employee: What Managers Need to Know

Hosting Community Death Cafes
Periodically, local community Death Cafes are hosted as a free, informal space for neighbors and community members to gather, discuss challenges, and share discussions around grief, loss, and death. No agenda, no expertise required. All are welcome. Reach out for more details or to inquire about future sessions as they are scheduled.
A Note on Scope of Practice:
This work is educational and community-facing in nature, grounded in practical training gained through INELDA. It is not focused on spirituality or therapeutic techniques, does not substitute for licensed mental health care, and does not fall under clinical counseling. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis and need specialized support from a clinician, please reach out to a licensed professional for assistance.
